Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi eulogizes late Aunt Hadja Adiatu Barrie-Timbo

HAJA ADIATU BARRIE-TIMBO died early on the morning of July 20, 2012 at the the Davidson Nicol Memorial Hospital in Freetown. She was the mother of the newly-appointed Director -General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Affairs , Ambassador Rasie Kargbo and aunt of Sierra Leone’s Goodwill Ambassador to the United States, Mrs. Isatu Timbo-Nwokedi. She has since been buried at Rokulan , Sanda in the Bombali District.

HAJA ADIATU TIMBO

Haja Timbo was a nice, kind and loving woman and she has been eulogized by her niece , Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi, who contacted COCORIOKO to say that she is missing Haja Timbo so much. The Goodwill Ambassador said :

I will never forget Haja Timbo and will remember her every waking moment of my life because she was a real mother to me. Her kindness to me will never be forgotten. When I needed love , she was there to provide it. When I needed somebody to be there for me, Haja Timbo was always there.

I want to express my condolence to all members of the Timbo family for this irreparable loss. She has left a vacuum in the family and in my life that will never be filled.
