Gone too soon Grandma. Even the Angels will definitely agree with me that, Mammy Alice Koroma will surely rest in perfect peace for the simple fact that, she left with us a true leader with interpersonal skills that equally cares for both his country men and women. Her product HE Dr Obai Koroma is, in my view the first President of Sierra Leone, for the mere fact that the President is the first amongst his predecessors that has shown duty of care to his country and its citizens. The President has brought hope and trust we were longing for. Sierra Leone was previously recognised as the country with a decade brutal civil war renowned with terrible human rights abuses. Now, the WEST and the rest of the world are now applauding our country as a beacon of hope for development in Africa and beyond. Mammy Alice, for this reason we shall never forget you even when your son retires from public service or duties. We will always pray for you and your husband for producing a child that brought hope, care and a sense of belonging to a nation that was close to the brink of collapsed. The people of Masimera empathise with you, His Excellency for the loss of our greatest mother. RIP GRANMA ALICE
