Freetown :  The nation will turn out in full colours to start paying its last respects to the late Madam Alice Rosaline Koroma, mother of the Head of State of Sierra Leone, President Ernest Bai Koroma, at a civic funeral to be held on Thursday July 12, 2012 at the Miatta Conference Hall. Mrs. Koroma is being honored with a civic funeral because she played a commendable role as an educator and a community activist. There is also no doubt that as the First Mother of The Nation, she more than deserves the honor.

This is indeed a great loss to the nation. May light perpetual shine on her. On behalf of my family and the APC Ohio Chapter Iam sending our heart-felt condolences to the family and the entire nation. Mr.President, please take heart as this is the will of the Almighty which no one has control over. At this time I believe no words of consolation will comfort you but we pray that the Almighty God will be at your side and we will always keep you in our prayers. Stay strong.
